Week 4 Natural Area Observations - Cristian Huerta

This week I walked around the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The path has easy access for people interested in biking or jogging. I walked along a paved path with shrubs and trees on both sides. The area was mostly filled with grass land with a couple shrubs, trees, and wildflowers spread along the path. Most of the area was flat which allows you to see the entire grass land. Parts of the trail are completely covered with tall trees that prevent you from viewing the surroundings. Some of the plants along the trail seem to have more access to sun than others. There is also multiple bodies of water near by. However, many of the areas filled with water seem to be drying out. All the plants I observed where spread out and located in different zones of the trail.
