Nature Walk: September 10-17

I went for a walk today in Edmands Park in Newton, Massachusetts. It is a series of walking trails, where it seems like a lot of people go to walk their dogs. The woods seemed to be pretty typical of the area, with lots of trees and plants around. There was not a lot of animals, as I only saw a couple of squirrels and the bees I took a picture of. The wildlife in the park wasn't that diverse but there was still a lot of flora and fauna to check out. As I walked, I passed multiple stone fireplaces sitting just off the trail. There were other stone structures that looked similar, but I wasn't sure what they were. There was also a small stream in the park, which had a wetlands sort of area around it. The weather was perfect, as it was 75, sunny, with a slight breeze. The bugs weren't bad except around the stream area, where I got bitten a couple of times.
