I found these isopods while trying to collect soil creatures for my terrarium. Anyone care to ID?
Found by flipping a large rock
Just got a new flash diffuser (AK diffuser) for macro photography and took it for a spin... very impressed by how even the light looks. Disappointed I didn't get a diffuser much sooner!
Here are all of my shots from my first test run with the AK diffuser: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?on=2024-04-11&order_by=observed_on&place_id=any&user_id=joemdo

Field Number LGN 24-18. Probably suborder Oniscidea, possibly belonging to section Crinocheta. Animal was crawling about forest floor among dry, fallen leaves. It measured about 1.5 to maybe 2 cm total length. Posterior end hidden beneath leaf in 1st photo.
