A hearty congratulations to all who have participated:
We appreciate everyone who contributed to a successful GSB 2023 - from those who organized bioblitzes, outings, events, diving, climbing, walking, and crawling to those who helped with IDs.
Well done to those who participated for the 1st time - Congo, Zambezi Region (Nambia), Greater Nyae Nyae Conservancy (Namibia), Nkangala (South Africa), Makana & Ndlambe (South Africa).
We hope that everybody enjoyed the event.

Especially glad to see a nice balance between observers and identifiers.
Our locals and international taxon specialists pulling together.
Thank you to the organisers and everyone else. It would be encouraging to observers, especially first time observers, (to take part again and to continue using inaturalist), if identifiers still make an effort to try identify more observations from the GSB period. Eg in Pondoland there are still many plant observations on the project that need ID, even just to genus level, and perhaps in other areas too.
