Fungi Foray in Wombat State Forest

On the 19th June, Les Hanrahan @leshanrahan led members of the Field Naturalist Club of Ballarat on our monthly field trip, in search of amazing fungi in the Wombat forest.

You can see all the observations that have been uploaded to iNaturalist from that day here.

Highlights included several slime moulds, many different fungi such as delicate Pixie's Parasols, and fungi growing on fungi (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/122422053), a rakali and yellow robin seen at our lunch stop, and a nesting swan (seen on the way home, not in the forest).

Thanks to Les for a fantastic fungi field trip!

If you have already looked at the observations from this day, have another look. @alexmyco has now added his photos, more than doubling our total number of observations.
