I am a naturalist and what originally inspired me to join iNaturalist was through my interest in mycology. I joined after attending a FungiMap workshop where the benefits of being a participant were clearly explained.
I have a wide range of ecological interests. In particular I have long term field based interests in the biota of the Victorian Volcanic Plains, Box-Ironbark Forests, Woodland and coastal ecosystems.
