2nd Virtual BioBlitz, November 2020's Journal

Thanks everyone for joining our 2nd Virtual BioBlitz on Saturday! We have close to 700 observations of 363 species. That's especially amazing considering the fact that we only had 15 participants! (Although I suspect some people will upload their photos later on).
Our challenge was to record biodiversity. We were trying to record all 13 categories. Even though none of us were able to make it, as a group, we did record all categories. Some categories were highly under represented. We only had 2 fish, 2 chromista, 1 reptile, 1 amphibian, and 1 protozoan. Together, we did great!
We had an incredible number of bird species - 112! And 7 species of snails and slugs, that's pretty great! We also had 119 species of plants, and 60 species of arthropods.
