Lepidoptera Species List
Alberta Lepidoptera Inventories are initiated by both the Alberta Government and members of the Alberta Lepidopterist Guild (ALG) who are working together to document all species found in Alberta’s Parks and Protected Areas. Resulting species lists are used by personnel in resource management planning. This report summaries all species that are known from the park. A total of 22 families and 309 species were collected in Wainwright Dunes Ecological Reserve including 2 that are provincially ranked as S1 and 7 as S2.
