Nature Walk #2

I went on a nice nature walk just off campus, trying to find anywhere that was natural and untouched by society. I found myself walking along Chandler Pond, which isn't that far off campus. I really focused at looking at trees, since in class we talked about how fungus can usually grow and help plants and often times, trees. To be honest, I wasn't sure if I was finding fungus or plants, but I was trying my best. I do think it is important to note that fungus grows along the roots of many plants! I took pictures of a piece of grass since I thought maybe there were fungus growing along the roots. It started raining a little bit while I was on my walk but that was okay. It was perfect temperature outside, just a little chilly. I really enjoyed this walk and felt like I was one with nature. I also feel like these walks are really calming and nice
