State Parks asks Californians to document monarch butterflies.

As the number of western monarch butterflies decreases, California State Parks is asking people to document where the butterflies are going.

We had a few overwinter as chrysalis' in our yard and one recently emerged. We didn't cut our milkweed back until November and there were a few last caterpillars feeding on the milkweed going into winter.
