Rare duck spotted in lake at Santa Maria park.

A duck not often seen in the United States has shown up at Waller Park in Santa Maria.

The duck, called a garganey, is smaller than the other ducks in the park, so it stands out to bird watchers, and bird watchers from all over the state are flocking to Santa Maria to catch a look.
