Mostly a bird photographer (in a casual and usually somewhat incidental manner), but can easily get distracted by a dragonfly, wasp or other interesting creature.
I have been taking regular walks at Herdsman Lake since 2016, so have set myself a challenge to take photos of as many of the local birds as possible (as at April 2022 I am up to 95 species although many of these are still reasonable i.d.s rather than particularly good photos).
Will always take the camera if I venture out of Perth and if I see something interesting will often take some time for photography and observation.
