I am wild about wildflowers, especially early spring woodland wildflowers and prairie wildflowers and grasses. Bogs and shorelines interest me too. I love to encounter birds, mammals, bugs, lichens, fungi, and spiders and their webs when I am out searching for wildflowers. I hike at least once a week in all seasons and try to capture it all in photos. In my gardens at home I try to mimic the natural beauty I see on my hikes. There’s a lot I don’t know and a few things I do, or at least I think I do….
