Hi Nature people,

I am currently working on a gigantic project of arthropd community exploration in Baja California's vineyards, I focus on the Valle de Guadalupe area.
My main objective as a postdoc is to define how the vineyard's surrounding vegetation (i.e.: native, natural, other crops, etc...) and habitats alter the vineyard's arthropod community composition. Ultimately, the idea would be to maximize ecosystemic services by promoting native/natural habitat conservation.
In a nutshell:
1: do not obliterate orginal habitat when growing grapes, but use all beneficials artropods that you can get from it
2: tolerate a basal "pest" population to feed you natural enemy cleaning squad ;)
3: minimize costs such as chemical and mechanical tools, maximize ecosystemic (and free) services

Please feel free to contact if you want to collaborate I spent the most part of 2023 in the field spreading pitfalls and vaccuming grape's foliage, I have LOADS of samples... If you're a taxonomist in anything that has more than 4 legs, please, talk to me Im sure I've got something for you.
