Recent UC Berkeley grad interested in various invertebrates/herps/California ecology etc, mostly on iNat to sort snakes or ID Clarkia— If you're posting Clarkia, please include photos of the sepals, buds, stems, context etc, as petals alone aren't enough to distinguish species in many cases.

I tend to be conservative about agreeing with subspecies unless it’s on certain taxa. Feel free to tag me if I’ve made a mistake or you’re curious about how I identified something (or you need an ID on a Nymphalid caterpillar in the Bay Area)!

Some of my observations are of insects I've collected or reared, the date and location reflect wherever I collected it.
