I have traveled to 40 of 48 continental states + Hawaii and 6 Latin American countries, having backpacked through one. I have lived in 7 states + Ecuador but always found myself coming back to Madison, Wisconsin. Aside from traveling, I am an avid admirer of nature and astronomy. I also have a passion for off-road racing, mechanics and aviation.

I am the world's foremost expert on humor so take my observations and identifications with a pound of salt! I have a strongly self-enhancing and affiliative sense of humor, I know how to laugh at myself and find the humor in any situation in order to build connections with other people.

Aside from the obvious awe that nature often provides, I find joy and sometimes hilarious antics in the animals around us. All it takes is a little time, a lot of patience and an eye for the positive!
