I’m a long-time, avid birder with a primary interest in avian behavior. I contributed six chapters to National Geographic’s Reference Atlas to the Birds of North America; worked with raptor rehabilitation in N. VA. A firm believer in Citizen Science, I participate in Cornell Lab’s eBird and FeederWatch, as well as numerous Christmas Bird Counts; and am active with Virginia Master Naturalists.
