I have worked in ecology, taxonomy and environmental planning and management for over 40 years. I have worked extensively in the Nillumbik area and know its flora and fauna quite well. My first work in conservation was at Wilson's Prom in the late 70's, and I have subsequently worked with LaTrobe Uni, the Museum of Victoria and the Arthur Rylah Institute on various research and conservation projects such as the recolonisation of the Krakatoa Islands in Indonesia, the management plan for the Eltham Copper Butterfly and conservation and heritage strategies at Eltham, Nillumbik and Banyule councils. I have an Honours degree in Biological Sciences.
