hello! i am interested in most any organism i come across, but have a soft spot for arthropods and reptiles. i grew up among the anoles and bulimuli that inhabit south florida, and now typically busy myself recording the wildlife of central north carolina, a region i continue to find new and fascinating. while i am a hobbyist with no formal credentials, two entomology electives in college aside, i try to do my due diligence and research beyond the AI suggestions before making identifications at the species level.
