My interest in plants started even before I could read. Over the years I have practised and learned about species, taxonomy and ecology in phases of changing intensity.

I know the most common garden birds, and I get more and more interested in insects, especially bees and other hymenoptera, hoverflies and bugs, and I am getting a bit familiar with spiders.
