I’m mostly just here for casual observation and a good time, but I’m really happy to learn more about my surroundings! I’m here as an amateur/hobbyist, but I’m also here to learn. I often work in outdoor settings, and I think it would be beneficial to be able to identify native species in order to better conserve them.

I’m also interested in learning about which species are invasive and documenting them when I can, especially if they are still being cultivated/planted by developers (I’m looking at you Bradford/callery pears).
