I have worked in ecology and environmental education for over 10 years, in different parts of Australia. I love using iNaturalist to extend my knowledge of interesting things I spot whilst exploring close to home (Lithgow, NSW), and beyond.
More recently, I've been focussed on water in the Blue Mountains, where I set up the Blue Mountains Crayfish Count here on iNaturalist. I'm currently working with Maldhan Ngurr Ngurra- Lithgow Transformation Hub, with the aim to get some interesting citizen science projects happening- watch this space!
