Lowell Woods Walk, Oct. 4 2020

I went on a nature walk at Lowell Woods in Westwood, Mass. The weather was perfect at about 70 degrees. In terms of fungi, I saw common lichen on many trees along the trail. I did not find other examples of fungi other than that, but it was still cool to see the how the lichen varied in size and appearance. I made sure to include some pictures of how beautiful the trail looked since there were so many different colors of autumn leaves that had fallen. There were other interesting and unique plants that I got to see along the trail and overall everything was extremely peaceful in the autumn air. I would definitely recommend this trail to any locals or anyone willing to take a 20 minute ride south.
