Walk on 10/14/2020

I took a beautiful walk around the res starting at about 4 pm today. The weather was very nice, especially compared to yesterday where it rained almost the entire day. It was a beautiful fall day, with some leaves already changing and falling, yet warm enough to even wear a tank top on my walk. I specifically looked for each grouping of plants and was successful in observing at least one organism from each major group. I observed some squirrels, geese, and even a chipmunk with food in its mouth that I was able to take pictures of. Although close in proximity to campus, the res is a beautiful place to get into a natural space and clear your head. It is perfect for a run or a short nature walk like this one.
