Bean clam of many different colors found in the sand we sampled. Clustered at the surface of the sand as well. Many lumped together

Found about 25 meters from water edge at low tide

Found along the wrack line of the previous high tide, located at the border of the light, dry sand and the hard, wet sand.

This hydroid could be observed growing on many bean clams. The appendages of this organism could be seen sticking out from the wet sand of the intertidal sandy beach.

This flowering plant could be observed growing in the harsh upper zone of the beach, indicating it's hardiness and tolerance for high salinity levels.

Found at surf line, with small waves still washing over it. Appears to have died more recently.
