4 Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos feeding on Hakea nuts in our front garden. Nothing else is capable of opening those hard wooden fruit for the two seed locked inside each one.
Family group on grevillea. At one point one bird appeared to be feeding another smaller on branch same bush.
I saw this bird fly into the tree on the far side of the pond, about 30 - 40 metres from where I was standing. I could see that it had a grub in its beak but it was too small to clearly with the naked eye. This is the second time I have seen this cuckoo here.
Rescued from a concrete pit it had fallen into.
