Description

This blue heron is around 25 inches tall, slight, with long and thin legs and neck, gray beak with a black tip, and very dark-blue feathers. It was observed on a hot, humid, 84F, sunny day in a wetland in a park, walking slowly and away from the other birds, and sometimes emerging its beak in the water. This heron can be found along the Atlantic coast, from North to South America in still bodies of water, often hidden or isolated.

Description

this was a solo duck that I found at Al Lopez. I know it is a duck so that is easy. I don't know its specific species. the area where is was found was a field in a park near a river. I know it is a deuterostome, since it is a vertebrae animal. the duck was completely balck on both sides with white medium size freckles on the front.

https://biologydictionary.net/deuterostome/
I used this reference to understand what a deuterostome and protostome are.
