I am very excited about this find, because I had predicted the presence of large pin oaks in Great Swamp Management Area due to saplings (but not mature trees) being fairly common in wet areas along the main trails. Large pin oaks are common in the swamp on the north side of the Pawcatuck River, though beavers have killed or nearly killed some of them.
4 perched high on tree branch. Absent of yellow ear-coverts (Yellow-crested Cockatoo) and larger size, thus ID as Sulphur-crested Cockatoo.
