Growing on rotting hardwood in mesic mixed hardwood/conifer forest
Found by a member of Midwest Psilocybin Hunters Facebook group
Small stature, kind of felty cap, ellipsoid spores all lead me to believe these are psilocybe caerulipes samples have been sent for DNA to Alan Rockefeller and Stephen Russell
Found in landscaping mulch.

found on new years, around 40°F, 5°C, waterlogged from rain, lighter caps were dryer/ underneath tree branches, huge patch on very old mulch, clusters of 2-3, caps seem to go convex when older, younger ones mostly flat or slightly concave
