Moss Salix island in wet meadow. Gill edges light blue/green under uv
Dean made the collection of this. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/233651511
I found 1 population while trying to wash as stick in the water and then found 5 subsequent populations headed north along the shore bank. All appeared within 20 cm of Sphagnum but weren't fruiting directly on it. Dean and Justin found even more populations along the shoreline when I brought them over to look at them.
each of the Corn Lily leaves are flags of the first 5 populations

attempted to find cause of UVF365nm = red
no obvious signs of chloroplasts, algae or cyanobacteria. discreet fibers appear to have increased fluorescence under the ZOE imager fluorescent scope (400x) using Excitation: 480/17 nm
Emission: 517/23 nm
using 365nm on Nikon TMS not able to see any differentiated structures with fluorescence.
dried tissue still very red under 365 nm
A cluster of some of the bigger specimens seen in this region; highly abundant. None collected.
