Sporocarps: 1.0-1.7 mm total height. Stalk: 0.4-0.5 mm (25-30% TH). Sporothecae: globose or slightly oblate, 1.0-1.3 mm diam. Peridium: iridescent blue, violet, with scattered white crystals; hyaline, except at the base where it becomes translucent red-brown. Capillitium: radiating from top of columella, threads brown, with occasional darker nodules, pale at periphery. Spores: 9.0-10.5 µm, pale brown, with large contrasting warts. Habitat: on dead branch near melting snow.
