This bird was either a rock wren or rifleman and was the only one I ever saw on the property.
On private land
On the left of first photo there is H. plumeum for comparison.
Small patch on bush edge. Almost flowering.
Looks more compact and a different colour to the more common species here which I have called K. villosa.
