I saw these raccoons eating our dog food I front of our house. There were about five of them. I am not too sure on the exact species, but I think they are the northern raccoon. They weren't too shy, but still were kinda skittish around noises (such as the door opening and closing).
I found this plant by my school that has a river running by it. It was mixed in with some other plants around it, including poison oak. I believe it is a sedge.

The field in the back of my school has some good gardeners to keep it going. Natural gardeners. I found tons of these little helpers out in the more moist parts of the field. It's good to know that someone is taking good care of such a life filled field.
Green plant that floats on top of freshwater, in this case a pond. Tiny flowers of only a few millimeters long.
Out in the back of my school, there is a field. I was walking around out there, looking for exciting organisms, when I lifted up a tire and found this. It looks to me like this is a mouse nest. There were many other signs of mice and rats in that field from the holes I saw in the ground. I even saw some grass move quickly as if something was crawling away, but it was too fast for me to catch it.
There are some bushes on the edge of my school where a fence lays. I was walking past these bushes and I found a small beetle crawling around on the leaves. I had seen this beetle before, but never knew what it was. I looked it up and I think it is a solider beetle.
lady bug on a weed with 4 spots
It is small and has like 6 legs. Its colors are brown kinda light brown color. Has two defensive I don't know what they are called but I'm guessing they are pointy little things for protection.
A ladybug has 7 black dots or less sometimes. Its coat is bright red and under the coat is black. it can fly away when in danger.
