Stopped by my bird feeder.

For my observation I found these two bunnies in my yard. When I was taking my dogs out I noticed these two sitting in my yard eating some grass. I was really surprised when I went to go take their picture they let me get really close up to them and they never ran away. We have a lot of these cottontail bunnies in our neighborhood and they are always in our yard. They are very friendly, and if you are quiet and nice they will let you come pretty close to them. The also at times let my dogs walk really close to them. My dogs are very curios and nice to them and they will just sit there and keep eating while they walk towards them, then they will run away when they get a couple feet from them. when I was researching these cottontail bunnies I was surprised to find out that their life span is only two years. That really surprised me because we have hundreds of bunnies I feel that just live on our side of town. I also found it interesting that by three months of age they are considered to be grown adults!
