A weed in the Wildflower Meadow in Bricker Reserve, Moorabbin.
Poaceae weed with double headed (facing/opposing) seed head
A grass with distinctive-looking flowers, seen in a section of the Reserve that seems to be regularly mowed.
I’d appreciate an ID to species level please. Flowering stems are triangular in cross section. Leaves are flat with midrib. Long arching leaves to 1m +.
