We were walking on the paved city trail. We found several large tadpoles swimming in a big temporary pool of water. The recent flooding and monsoon storms are the source. Some tadpoles had little legs.
Found in a parking lot, may have come in with visitors from Vegas or California. Not native to the area, so was removed from the wild.
Taylor Creek, Kolob Canyon. Need help identifying this toad! In total, we found 2 individuals at this spot and a third down by the creek.
Bonneville Cutthroat Trout (Oncorhynchus clarki utah). A subspecies of cutthroat trout native to tributaries of the Great Salt Lake.
