Description

Found this specimen in a coastal environment, Cape Conran, East Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. Has up to centimetre long spikes along the a broad serrated leaf. Purple flower with yellow stamens.

Description

I don't think I know this plant at all. They were both above and below the road with steep embankments, so I could not get a close up. The first 3 photos above the road made me think it was a shrub. But below the road a plant was climbing up other vegetation.
