This is Trientalis borealis, more commonly known as Starflower! The species name borealis is from the Latin meaning 'of the North' because that is where the plant is usually distributed. Starflowers have 5-9 petals (with the most common number of petals being 7) and each plant can have 1-3 blooms. As you can see, I was fortunate enough to find a plant with 9 petals and 3 blooms!
