Eastern coral snake observed in Naples, Florida. Real location is not posted due to how ecologically sensitive the region is where this individual was found. Judging by size this specimen is a hatchling recently born into the world. Also, there were two egg casings found in the same log where I discovered the coral snake. This individual was safely released back into the log where I found it, without harming it or harming myself. I am 25 years old and this is the first coral snake that I have observed in the wild!
