Growing under eucalypt. Pileus brown which appears white on drying. Gills close chocolate brown. Stipe white, silky with transverse corrugations. Spore print dark brown. Spores slight kidney bean shape 5.5 x 3 um.
Growing from wood chips, close to clusters of Leratiomyces ceres
Growing on the base of a dead eucalyptus.
Students from Spensley Street PS have been researching fungi and went on a Creek Walk last Wednesday. We found many fungi and this is one of them. Not sure if we have gotten the species correct but it looked a little like Pleated Inkcap from our fungi guide.
