Description

The plant species is an erect shrub (woody stem ~0.4m in height). Leaves are simple, entire, with a green leathery texture (coriaceous). The leaves are elliptic to linear in shape, with both ends tapering. The upperside of the leaves have small white dots on them. The underside of the leaves have a distinct woolly mat of orange hairs. Leaves are between 4 and 6.5 cm in length. Stem is woody and is peeling in some sections. Plant grows in groups (i.e. many of the same plant in the area). Strong aromatic smell.

Description

Plant at least 70cm tall, pleasant smell can be detected when capitulum is cut in half, tends to attract a lot of insects in its capitulum. Plant has high moisture content. Can be found in damp soil.
