Sorry for the awful cell pic-Parrot was far away and it was dusk. I snapped this photo and went to get my Nikon but the Parrot didn’t wait for me🙂But it was very loud, which got my attention. What I found strange is that it was alone. Usually there is a huge group that fly all around the San Fernando Valley. We refer to them as ‘the wild pack of parakeets’. I don’t remember ever seeing one by itself.

This little one was very skittish about me. As you can see, it kept moving around. When it spotted me, it was next to my tire and then hid in the brush. As I starting taking pictures of some of the other lizards, it decided to come out and see what was going on, but was very jumpy. I had to be sure to not make any sudden movements or it would have disappeared again.

This one wanted to model. As I crossed towards the sidewalk, it ran alongside me and jumped up into the sun on the sidewalk… it was like ‘take my picture’…. I think it wanted to show off it’s great side eye.😄
