Dark brown cap blackish at the centre, a yellow stem with brown zig-zag markings along its length, a yellow mycelium at the base.
The cap has bleeding blue colour on the edge. A blue tinge was more pronounced on July 20 when was rainy (photo 3) and on July 15 (photos 4-5) when fruit bodies were in the stage of full development.

Cap: purple.
Stem: mostly white.
Cap diameter 5cm. Stem 6cm. Cap to base 8cm. Slightly purple tinge to mycelium. Whole stem purple plus edge of gills purple.
