The second day of the iNat adventure with the iNaters of legend... Still quite excited, so most pictures quite blurry.
Found some neat critters at this place! I'll spend lots of time with the ID'ing later -- also, several of these were observed by others, so I can browse through their observations as well... :)
Duplicate recording which includes Incilius nebulifer and Gastrophryne olivacea
Sounds like a type of frog, but coming from high up in the trees (there were several calling back and forth). Maybe tree frogs?
We found this frog at a lake
Gastrophryne carolinensis at 6 second mark?
Observations made following heavy rains that ended around 8:40 pm. High presence of multiple species this night, some recorded in duplicates of this observation.
Observation is of the sheep-sounding frog with the higher, more nasal sound audible at 10, 18, 20, and 29 sec.
Compare to the deeper-voiced sheepfrog, in this recording, which is broken out here: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/210593393
I think these might be tree frogs, but I’m not sure
