Invasive vine with pear shaped seed pods
Shocking! Sitting on the stressful deck a few minutes ago and hear footsteps running across the roof and see this possum disappear down the pole. Next minute I see the pohutukawa in front of me start shaking so getting the torch I see this possum up there eating the flowers. Well, if this nasty invasive pest thinks it can sit in front of tangata whenua and eat an endemic plant with no repercussions it was wrong. Out comes the gun and bam - possum shot and fell to the base of the tree where it can do some good, being fertiliser and paying back for trying to eat this in the first place :)
Queen brought indoors while hibernating in firewood
Having a senior moment - can not remember what this one is LOL

There is an abundance off common Dandelions around Burnham area, and you commonly see cabbage white butterflies around them.
One spider eating another - I think. The next day there was only one.
