What

Broom Seed Beetle (Bruchidius villosus)

Observer

jon_sullivan

Date

Description

These chunky beetles on lemonwood flowers look like the same species as are all over the Cytisus scoparius flowers. (See this observation.)

Does anyone recognise them?

The narrow beetle species photographed here on the lemonwood was not on the broom flowers.
