Orange fungi
Crawling on Peritoma arborea
A typical looking mourning dove on the right, but what is that on the left. The two birds were definitely a pair, moving around the yard together.
Still on the same plum as last week. It flew off after I took the picture. It was sitting on that one piece of fruit for several days
I noticed this morning cloak sitting on the plum yesterday, (06Aug2023) And it's still here today. I don't know how many days it's been sitting here already.
Update, I took another picture on the 9th and it flew away after I got the camera a little too close. I wonder why it sat there for three+ days in a row sipping on the split open plum.
Found attached to a 5 gallon bucket in my yard.
