The coloring looks like a scrub cicada, but the sound is a bit different then the scrub cicadas I am used to hearing back in orlando. Maybe I am just going crazy.

Fourth found today. Eat 2.3 cm.
One of three observed. I will submit an observation of the second separately. Estimated length 2.3-2.4 cm. Much more slender than most cicada pupae I see. Distinctive abdominal striping. I've seen them in this are several times and believe we must have an endemic population here. I have not seen a live one.
