New to INat so I need to improve my observation photos but wanted to provide this for identification if possible and confirm if they are native or an introduced species. These were observed in ponds at Cross Creek Ranch, Fulshear Texas. Spotted a couple dozen or more floating on the surface of the waterway. These measured approx 2.5 to 3". I did not open the shell as they were still alive.
