Physical description: A shell length of up to 18mm with 4-5 V-shaped whorls (more pronounced whorls than L. obtusata and L. littorea). Variable color ranging from white, yellow, green, and brown
Fun fact: There is large genetic divergence between two lineages of Rough Periwinkles that co-occur in the Northern Atlantic
